Mike & Julianne
Wedding Video
This project marks my very first wedding film, and I’m incredibly grateful to Mike and Julianne Veto for trusting me with documenting one of the most meaningful moments in their lives. A wedding is something you want to remember forever, and I wanted to create a film that truly reflects their night.
The couple shared that they wanted a video with a natural, home-video feel—something that showcased the people, the energy, and the genuine moments of the day. They asked me to film as a “fly on the wall,” which is exactly how I believe a wedding videographer should be. You’re not the star of the show; in fact, a great videographer is someone you hardly notice at all.
With that in mind, I set out to craft a film filled with authentic moments and meaningful soundbites. The long-form video includes audio from their officiant, the best man, the maid of honor, and a heartfelt speech from Mike’s grandmother. Some of the most memorable clips came from passing a microphone around after dinner, capturing the spontaneous well-wishes of friends and family.
All of this was combined with natural b-roll to create a seamless, story-driven film that preserves the emotion and flow of their day. I also created a shorter highlight version designed for sharing on social media, as well as exporting all the raw moments separately for them to keep and revisit whenever they’d like.
This project will always be special to me, and I’m honored to have been part of their celebration.
